There are varieties that grow to be towering eight foot flowers, or dwarf varieties that you can grow to reach only about two feet tall or so. Funny enough, California Poppies do well in Georgia! These bright, lovely flowers that come in red, orange and yellow colors like areas with full sun and do better during dry spells than they do in wet ones.
