Backyards are not all about lawn care and mowing schedules. They are meant to be enjoyed and extend your living space. The good news is after you have put in all that effort and let us help you take care of any trouble spots, weeds, or insects, your backyard will be the best adventure your kids will ever have! keeping cool greenfeet.jpgSummers are hot here in Georgia and that means everyone will be looking for a way to cool down. Why not use your backyard to do so? There are so many great ways to entertain your kids and have fun yourself, by being a little creative and turning on some hoses.

1. Water Fights!

One of the best things about summer is that it is hot enough to enjoy water fights! It feels good to get hit with a water balloon full of cool water instead of freezing you! Take the play outside and have some family bonding time with some water guns, water balloons or sponges. Using sponges can be a softer alternative to balloons if you have smaller children or just don’t like being hit with water balloons.

2. Slip N’ Slides

A classic water game perfect for sunny afternoons, slip and slides are meant for anyone that wants to have a good time and wants to cool off. Let loose and join your kids on the slip n’ slide to make memories the whole family will look back on with joy! You can purchase slip n’ slide kits online or at the store or you can make your own! If you have a long tarp, a little bit of soap, and a garden hose, you have hours and hours of fun waiting for you!

3. Inflatable Pools Or Kiddie Pools

If you have the space and the budget, purchasing a blow-up pool or a small kiddie pool depending on the age of your children, you can enhance their summer fun by allowing them to splash around in the pool and practice swimming, give them a chance to be creative and make up their own games, and stay cool all day long! Littler ones can use a kiddie pool to get used to the water and be safer playing in a more shallow area.

More Backyard Fun!!

Keep the ideas coming and the water flowing this summer by making up your own games and sharing them with others. Your backyard should be used for fun and creating happy memories. We are happy to help you reclaim your lawn and take on any invading pests or weeds to make sure you have the perfect lawn for enjoying the outdoors and your water games this summer!
