There are so many things that go into putting together and maintaining a cultivated and manicured lawn. You have to keep the proper watering schedule, water the right amount and remember to mow using the proper strategies. happy.jpgNot only this, but you have to remember to fertilize on the right schedule, learn what fertilizers to use, and how to apply them properly. Don’t forget about pulling or spraying for weeds, too. It can also be important to find the time, money, and energy to aerate your lawn when it needs so the proper nutrients and oxygen can reach the roots of your grass.

To do all of these things, there is quite the host of tools and equipment that you may need to purchase to get the job done correctly. Think about it, most people have an entire garden shed or building behind their home that houses all the tools and things they have gathered over the years as needs have come up. Here are just a few of the most basic tools and equipment you might find in there.

Lawn Mower

This baby might not fit in the shed, particularly if you have a riding one, but it is a standard for anyone that has a lawn and strives to take care of it even on the most basic level. Finding the right lawnmower for you is something you want to take a bit of time to research and gather information on. Those with smaller lawns may choose a push mower while those with larger acreage may desire a riding one to cut down on the time it takes to do the yard work. Either way, you want to be sure that you are getting a high quality machine that will do the job and work well for a long time. Lawnmowers are an investment, that is for sure.

Weed Eater

Another great tool to have if you are trying to maintain beautiful edges on your lawn, manage fence lines, and keep weeds and grass properly trimmed and maintained. Still another lawn tool that should be researched and thought of as an investment, you want to make sure the tool you purchase works for you and your lawn. Weed eaters can be hard on the hands because of the strong vibration, so keep things like that in mind when browsing the options. You will also have choices between gas powered and electric weed eaters. Know the benefits and costs of each and make the best decision for you!
