Outdoor living spaces are some of the most magical and peaceful places when they are landscaped to perfection and decorated with just the right finishing touches. Your lawn and garden area can be more that what it is with the combinationgarden-pond-823722_1920.jpg of the right plants, water features, patio sets, and unique design elements. You can have more fun with your backyard, front yard, and garden spaces when you spice them up instead of just doing the weekly maintenance of the grass and flower beds. Here are some great ways to start incorporating some mystery and excitement into your outdoor living spaces!

Statues, Lawn Ornaments, and Design Pieces

You decorate the inside of your home with unique pieces of art, figurines, and colors, so why not do much of the same in your outside living space? Kick up some fun with beautiful flowers and colors incorporated into the backgrounds and fence lines of your property that feature gorgeous statues or other design pieces. Robust flower beds spilling over with color and plants softens the strict lines of your yard, giving it a more welcoming appearance. Draw on the scheme of the exterior of your home to pick out yard ornaments to strategically place in beds and near path or walkways. The difference in color, texture, and depth will add focal points to your space.

Water Features and Fountains

If you really want to add some elegance and interest to your lawn, consider a water feature as one of your main areas of interest. A well-placed pond with live fish or surrounded by water-loving plants will draw all your guests to it in awe. If a pond isn’t quite up your alley, there are countless beautiful fountains and water features of varying sizes to consider. These are also available in a variety of price ranges allowing for most budgets! Water features not only add visual interest to your outdoor living space, but often can create a sweet ambience with the sounds of trickling water.

Planter Pots

The wonderful thing about planter pots is that they are available in a myriad of colors, designs, and sizes. They can be the perfect addition to make one area of your lawn flow better into the next. Place large pots full of the same type of plants near or on your patio to diminish the perception of division. Incorporate matching or similar pots throughout your yard to tie it all together.
